Wussten Sie schon, dass ein Betreuerwechsel vom Promotionsausschuss befürwortet werden muss? Wenn Sie also beabsichtigen während Ihrer Promotion Ihren Betreuer bzw. Ihre Betreuerin zu wechseln, stellen Sie bitte umgehend einen Antrag auf Betreuerwechsel und reichen diesem beim Promotionsbüro ein. Für eine Beratung zum Antrag sowie zum Betreuerwechsel allgemein können Sie sich zu den Sprechzeiten oder telefonisch von den Mitarbeiterinnen des Promotionsbüros beraten lassen.

So if you intend to change your supervisor during your doctorate, please apply for a change of supervisor immediately and submit it to the doctorate office. If you would like advice on your application or on changing your supervisor in general, you can contact the staff of the doctorate office during office hours or by telephone.

Dahlem Research School – Course Program

The Dahlem Research School (DRS) course program for the 2019/20 winter term is available online. You can view the entire schedule and book your courses here: DRS course booking website

Please note these important changes: As the Berlin universities are now cooperating on a larger scale, the majority of the DRS course program will be offered free of charge, with all doctoral and postdoctoral researchers affiliated with the Berlin University Alliance eligible to attend. In order to be able to book courses, you need to make sure that your account on the DRS course booking website is linked to an institutional email address from one of the member universities.

Members of Potsdam university may continue to attend Research Integrity courses free of charge.

All eligible participants are assigned a time budget comprising six workshop days (= 48 work units) per person and academic year (= three workshop days per semester). Research Integrity courses (hosted by Humboldt University in the winter term) do not count toward this time budget.

The courses previously contained within our individual program lines (Professional Development Program; Researcher Development Program; FUBright for International Doctoral Candidates) will from now on be united in one global course program catering to all target groups, from early-stage doctoral researchers to late-stage postdocs. If you’d like to find out which target group a course addresses, please refer to the course descriptions online.

Die Universitätsbibliothek und das Center für Digitale Systeme (CeDiS)  laden herzlich ein zum ersten Aktionstag Forschungsdaten an der Freien Universität Berlin.

Forschungsdaten, ihr nachhaltiges Management, ihre Publikation und Analyse haben in den vergangenen Jahren im Wissenschaftskontext hohe Relevanz gewonnen – quer durch die Disziplinen. Wie sehen die neuen Anforderungen an die Wissenschaft aus? Wie gehe ich mit eigenen Forschungsdaten um, welche Anforderungen stellen die großen Förderer, und welche Unterstützung bietet die Freie Universität Berlin?

Der Aktionstag bietet ein Forum für die Vernetzung und den Austausch zu generischen und fachspezifischen Bedarfen und liefert einen Überblick über Forschungsdatenmanagement-Lösungen am Campus. Am Vormittag nehmen wir die Relevanz von Forschungsdaten und ihrem Management  anhand von Informationsvorträgen sowie ganz praktisch aus der Perspektive verschiedener Forschungsvorhaben am Campus in den Blick. Am Nachmittag besteht Gelegenheit, direkt mit ExpertInnen ins Gespräch zu kommen. Die Closing Lecture "Digitalisierte Datenfriedhöfe? Chancen und Herausforderungen universitären Forschungsdatenmanagements" rundet den Aktionstag ab.

Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Forschende der Freien Universität Berlin. Informieren Sie sich, vernetzen Sie sich, diskutieren Sie mit!
