Distribution

When allocating places for courses, there is a lot to consider. Especially when allocating courses with limited capacity, legal requirements have to be met.

In order to comply with the legal requirements, the places for most biology courses are not allocated via Campus Management. All students who want a place in the course of the respective module are expected to show up in person on the day scheduled for distributions. The Office of Academic Affairs for Biology distributes course places with the help of assistants.

Detailed explanations about the different allocation methods, regulations etc. can be found here.

It is very important that you find out exactly how this works and that you meet the deadlines. Please read everything carefully. It is also important to note that only students who adhere to the standard curriculum plan can be guaranteed places, so take a good look at them.

Students who have good reasons for only being able to attend classes at certain times, such as parents whose child/children has/have not yet reached twelve years of age or people who are responsible for taking care of family members may be able to register in advance for places. For more information, see the next page on Advanced Registration.
