Workshop on One Health and antimicrobial resistance: role of antibiotics, antimicrobial peptides and biocides // 29 – 30 Jan

The workshop is designed to provide natural scientists with a thorough comprehension of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) within the realms of One Health research. It is funded by Una Europa, an alliance of 11 European universities. The event aims to promote cooperation within the Una-Europa network and to support early career scientists. There will be six sessions on One Health covering the topics human, animal and environmental health, biocide resistance, antibiotics resistance, and antimicrobial peptides resistance. In each of our sessions, we will welcome highly regarded keynote speakers and early career speakers who are outstanding experts in their respective fields. These experts will not only provide insights into the latest developments regarding AMR and One Health but also offer the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions.

We would like to especially encourage young scientists to participate in our workshop, sharing their research with us and receiving feedback from experts in the field of AMR and One Health. Additionally, we will be hosting both on-site presentation and poster sessions.

We kindly ask you to fill in the following form for registration: Link (QR code on flyer in appendix). Registration is open until 10th of Dec 2023. The workshop will take place as a hybrid event and is free of charge. If you have any inquiries or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at beat-amr@bam.de.
