Mentoring program for MSc students

Welcome to the info pages of the biology master’s degree program at the Institute of Biology of Freie Universität Berlin!

With the mentoring program, we want to give you support and we will be your contact persons whenever you have questions. These can be all kinds of questions – no matter how stupid they might seem. If we cannot answer, we will probably know who to ask! We will also offer a Campus Tour and some mentoring sessions where we will explain some basic programs and platforms we use at FU, that might be helpful for you.

The Campus Tour will start at approximately (Königin-Luise-Straße 12-16)

Hi,

I am Debby, a third-semester master's student in biology. Having also completed my bachelor's degree at FU, I am quite familiar with the campus and the main websites. Every university has its own management system, which can be overwhelming and confusing, but don't worry – you are not alone.

Having completed my bachelor's thesis in New Zealand, I understand the challenges of living in a different country and the difficulties that come with being an international student or just being new to a university. Feel free to reach out, and I will do my best to assist you.
