Protein Biochemistry
Miguel studied Biochemistry in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed his PhD in Molecular Biology in the CBM Severo Ochoa (UAM-CSIC, Madrid). During this time he studied structural and functional relationship of GH32 microbial enzymes and rationally designed new variants for tailor-made production of oligosaccharides. Miguel joined the AG Freund in 2012 for his post-doctoral research, working on peptide isomerism in MHCII complexes.
