Presentation | How to benefit from the innovation and transfer culture at Freie Universität Berlin?
At Freie Universität Berlin, new ideas are born every day that have the potential to improve our lives in the future. For years, the Department VI A: Knowledge and Technology Transfer / Profund Innovation has been promoting the culture of innovation on campus to enable the rapid transfer of knowledge and technologies from research to practice and society. The event will use showcase examples from the department to illustrate the journey of an idea from research to the market and provide information about current funding opportunities and offerings available through the Department IV A. The event is divided into four sections:
- From Research to Idea: Intellectual property protection and exploitation at Freie Universität Berlin. (Dr. Christine Reuter, Legal Counsel in Research and Transfer, Acting Head of Team)
- From Idea to Innovation: Funding for innovation to validate ideas. (Dr. Stefan Knoll, Innovation Manager)
- From Innovation to Market (A: The Start-Up): Funding for start-ups to bring business ideas to life. (Anna Figoluschka, Start-up Advisor)
- From Innovation to Market (B: The Business Cooperation): Research and development collaborations to implement a commercialization idea - financing options for collaborations. (Teresa Kollakowski, Transfer Manager)
Following the presentations, there will be a FAQ session where attendees can ask questions related to each topic. The event is an excellent opportunity for researchers to learn about the innovation and transfer culture at Freie Universität Berlin and how they can benefit from it.
