“Development of an in vitro immunocompetent skin model system for skin sensitization assay application as an alternative to animal models”

My project focuses on developing an immunocompetent skin model system based on 3D skin model method, which can later be used as skin sensitization assay as an alternative to animal models. The cells I am working with are human primary cells such as, keratinocytes, fibroblasts, T-cells and Langerhans cells.
