We are excited to invite you to the first edition of the Janus Mini-Symposium – Cancer meets Regeneration, scheduled on October 14^th 2024, from 1:00-8:00 pm in the Auditorium of the Cranach House (Föhrer Str. 15, Charité Campus Virchow Klinikum (CVK).  

This first edition will focus on CAR-T cell therapy and metabolic pathways, two pivotal themes that intersect and advance the frontiers of personalized medicine, enhancing outcomes in both cancer treatment and regenerative medicine. This event aims to bring together leading experts and early career researchers to discuss the latest advancements and innovative research in these fields. 

We are pleased to announce our keynote speakers for the CAR-T cell therapy session: 

• Li Tang (EPFL, Lausanne, CH) 
• Maksim Mamonkin (Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA)  

and for the metabolic pathways session:  

• Ping-Chih Ho (Ludwig Cancer Research, Lausanne, CH) 
• Marteinn Snaebjörnsson (DKFZ, Heidelberg)

The Janus Mini-Symposium is a joint scientific event of the graduate schools “Berlin School of Integrative Oncology” (BSIO) and “Berlin School of Regenerative Therapies” (BSRT) and is organized by PhD researchers from both graduate schools.
