Looking for career options after your doctorate? And not sure what is “out there”? With the series "Career Perspectives with a PhD in Natural and Life Sciences", we would like to offer an opportunity for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics.

 

Lam-Ha Ly, a forensic scientist in DNA analysis at the Berlin police will be our next guest. Lam-Ha did her doctorate in bioinformatics at the department of Mathematics and Computer Science, FU Berlin, in 2022 and will give us insights in the work of a forensic scientist analyzing and characterizing DNA profiles and providing biostatistical advice.

Unter dem Dach des CSR|Berlin kommen Forschungsaktivitäten an der Freien Universität Berlin zusammen, die eine nachhaltige und kreislauforientierte Ressourcen- und Materialnutzung sowie Stoffsynthese zum Ziel haben.

 

Feiern Sie mit uns die Gründung des CSR|Berlin am 9. April 2025 14 Uhr, in der Arnimallee 22, begleitet von zwei spannenden Festvorträgen.

Una Europa Early-Career Researcher Fellowships | Application deadline: March 31, 2025

 

This call is aimed at funding research stays of doctoral researchers and postdocs (maximum 6 years after completion of the dissertation) of FU Berlin from all disciplines with a maximum funding amount of 2.500 €. We want to support individual research projects of early-career scientists within the framework of Una Europa, to further develop professional competencies, to enable independently initiated networks among peer scientists and to strengthen the scientific cooperation within the alliance. Selected applicants will work independently together with scientists from Una Europa partner universities.
