Become a Mentor
Mentor for MSc First-Semester-Students
Requirement: you are in the 2nd semester of your MSc-studies (or higher).
- You look after mainly international students who are new at Freie Universität and in need of help organizing their studies. Communication between mentor and mentees is often in English.
- You organize a campus tour for the students (usually in cooperation with the Fachschaftsinitiative) and introduce study organization and your study course.
- You support students if needed. e.g. translating websites.
- You are available as a contact person throughout the semester.
- You keep a record of your working hours and receive a reimbursement of max. 750,00 Euro per semester.
Mentor for Exchange Students (all study courses included)
Requirement: You are a BSc- or MSc-student have very good English language skills. You have spent at least one semester abroad, ideally with Erasmus+ or another exchange program.
- You are in charge of the campus tour and introduce all relevant buildings of the Department.
- You organize one to two meetings concerning study organization, important online platforms/programs, university life etc.
- You are available as a contact person throughout the semester.
- You keep a record of your working hours and receive a reimbursement of max. 750,00 Euro.
