At Freie Universität in Berlin-Dahlem, around 640 people are studying biochemistry in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. The institute has locations at Thielallee 63 and Takustraße 6. With ten research groups and numerous associated groups and collaborations, biochemistry has a broad research base. Several research areas are supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
