Student Counseling Chemistry

The Student Counseling Chemistry of the Office of Academic Affairs for Chemistry offers advice and assistance for a wide range of problems and can recommend other advice centers for more specific problems.

We offer counseling and advisory for the following:

  • Study and Examination Regulations (active participation, multiple attempts, etc.)
  • course of studis (time tables, examination dates, etc.)
  • mediation in the event of problems with courses or lecturers
  • starting your studies
  • change of degree program, "lateral entry"
  • personal problems in your studies (standard study period, last exam attempt, etc.)
  • networking and contact with other important institutions and advisory services

Hi, my name is Chris and I am a student of chemistry im my 6th semester of the Bachelor's program at Freie Universität Berlin.

Since January 2024, I work at the Office of Academic Affairs for Chemistry as a student employee. Here, I am responsible for the student counseling services, as well as dealing with the organization of teaching in chemistry on the other hand.

I'm looking forward to advise you in your matters and help you as best as I can. You can always send me an email, I'll try to respond as soon as possible :-)
