The Organometallic Chemistry Group (GEQO) of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry has elected Christian Müller, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, as a GEQO Fellow (“Mención GEQO”).

GEQO has recently established a Fellows Program that recognizes distinguished researchers who have made significant contributions to the advancement of organometallic chemistry in Spain through their close collaboration with the GEQO.

Professor Müller’s research predominantly focuses on the development of new organophosphorus and -arsenic compounds, which are applied in bond activation reactions and chemical transformations, as well as in devices, that show interesting photophysical properties.
