The contact person for diversity at the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy serves as a point of contact for questions from the responsible member of the Executive Board and the Diversity Office in the field of diversity and facilitates the transparent communication of information within the department and between the department and the Diversity Office.

The main tasks are to record information about activities and needs, to provide proactive advice on the topic of diversity, and to arrange contacts. Furthermore, the contact person for diversity also serves as the initial contact for questions from the department administration and the Dean's Office of the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy.

The contact person does not have an advisory function for individuals with concerns such as discrimination, but can refer to appropriate counseling centers if needed.
