Closing event AG Lucht - guest professorship science of science focus gender & diversity

The AG Lucht, lead by Prof. Petra Lucht, is hosting in cooperation with Vanessa Hava Schulmann (AG Nowick) a closing event for the guest professorship science of science / gender and diversity. The participative conference for the department BCP / institute for biology will be on the topic of

"society and ethics in biology, chemistry and pharmacy".

... an event that adresses the intersection of ethics and biology. Topics include animal experiments, gender and sex in biology, colonialism, museum collections and further topics.

Interested and motivated students and staff of the department BCP, especially biology, are invited to participate in the conversation on societal and ethical topics. The program will consist of workshops offered by students and teaching staff, covering topics from their own perspectives. A special focus will be on discussing current teaching contents relating to society and ethics in the department BCP.

TARGET AUDIENCE: students and staff of biology (and department BCP), as well as persons responsible for conceptualizing teaching
