The topic of my Ph.D. thesis is : Antibacterial activity of marine sea cucumber and oyster against Staphylococcusaureus and vibrio My project integrates four important topics: (chapter 1) to test the antibacterial activity of the seacucumber Holothuria against the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. (chapter 2) to evaluate experimentally bacterial resistance against oyster antimicrobial peptides (AMPs). (chapter 3) to test if primed Vibrio bacteria colonize oysters better. (chapter 4) To investigate Vibrio resistance against AMPs in vitro.
