Chemistry of the Elements Technetium and Rhenium

The coordination chemistry and organometallic chemistry of technetium and rhenium was in the focus of our research for many years. This involved studies with the long-lived isotope 99Tc as well as with the short-lived nuclear isomer 99mTc.

Many of our recent studies, particularly those with bulky terphenylisocyanides, were done in close collaboration with the group of Prof. Joshua Figueroa, University of California San Diego.
