Research interests:
My research investigates interactions among regional climate change (mainly in precipitation), grazing management, and functions of alpine grassland communities on the Northern Tibetan Plateau. We currently focus on species richness-productivity relationship, water use efficiency, species-area relationship, plant functional trait diversity, and sustainable utilization policy of alpine pastures on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.
Current projects:
-
Spatiotemporal responses of species composition and biomass production of alpine grasslands to grazing enclosures on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. (Funded by Postdoctoral Nature Science Foundation of China, No. 2013M0716).
-
Regulations of functional traits on alpine grassland productivity on Northern Tibetan Plateau in the context of climate change and livestock grazing. (Funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, No. 41401070).
