Abstract
Biodiversity acts on multiple levels of an ecosystem and can range from diversity at the genetic level, over diversity at the species or plant functional type level to diversity at the landscape level. By extending the model EcoHyD, we investigate which processes and conditions lead to a high diversity and how this diversity in turn impacts ecohydrological processes.
